YLE Finnish Broadcasting
Finnish Language Story

The YLE Finnish Broadcasting Co. is the equivalent of public TV in Finland. Except for one significant difference between here and there -- they have a 44 percent market share in Finland. They were in Iowa to cover the presidential election, so came and did a story on my display while in the state. National level meant national-level production.

The Finnish-speaking correspondent (left), the videographer (background), and me, Dave Sanderson. There was also a Swedish-language correspondent there as well.

(Most more recent new stories and videos referenced the preemptive and absurd actions of the City of Ankeny as chronicaled at www.TheCityThatStoleChristmas.com (click on the little "here" for educators), so aren't included here.)
